Artist Resumé

My interest in art began at an early age when I watched my father copy figures from the kitchen wallpaper. I thought it was magical and I still view making art as a spiritual experience.
I am a Mixed Media artist. I was a member of “The Circle of Life Mixed Media Artists” group that evolved from a Printmaking course I taught at the Center for the Arts in Marlton, NJ. I also taught Oil Painting and Collage in Marlton NJ. I taught “Creative Discovery” to 5 and 6 year olds and Collage for adults at the Perkins Art Center, Moorestown, NJ. I have taught workshops in printmaking and paper making. The variety is a challenge that I find intriguing and satisfying.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Book Arts/Printmaking from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA. One of my prints appears in the book, “Philadelphia Images” and a printed quilt of “Flora and Fauna of the Pine Barrens” is in the permanent collection of the Pemberton Library in NJ. I exhibit at local art venues and have received awards. My work is in many private collections.
I am actively involved in the Willingboro Art Alliance, an art organization, in Willingboro, NJ.  I have served in the past as President and Program Chairperson of this vital organiation of professional and amatuer artists. At one time, I was the Gallery Director at Virtua-Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, NJ and at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, Willingboro, NJ.
